The Wises Post Office Directory of 1878-79 lists Joseph Gomez as the owner & operator of Bulls Aerated water Works. It was stated this factory was run in conjunction with a factory at Wanganui. Gomez also extended his business to Wellington Rd, Marton in 1897. (Cyclopaedia of NZ, vol 1 p 1321). Probably sold to G H Hathaway in 1906.
