Erected a factory in Taumarunui in 1908 in Huia St. This factory was taken over by
C L Innes 5 years later when Hyde's went into liquidation. There is a letter from Hyde to Innes about selling as he was ill.(ABC November 1976) There is another report which says this deal fell over the next day, and in actual fact Hydes business carried on until 1917.
