Dark green internal thread (1906-1914), marked on base WB & S (ABC p 14 February 1977 - more than likely William Barnard & Sons, London). Bulls Cordial Factory was probably purchased from Joseph Gomez in 1906 and manufactured all types of cordials as well as vinegar (Cyclopaedia of NZ, v6, 1908) Prior to establishing his own establishment Hathaway manged a cordial factory at Eltham and earlier still managed the Hawera Brewery. It is said the cordial factory burnt down in 1914.
